Our philosophy is based on creating a strong interaction with the surrounding context and on the desire to question each artist’s position in relation to a specific context: whether it is the space itself, with its architecture and layered history, or a broader cultural dialogue that extends beyond their own experience.
We are also interested in working with language as a space for exchange, generating new codes that allow artists to expand their research, sometimes through a subtle questioning of boundaries related to cultural constructs, techniques, or philosophical approaches, and ultimately through a repositioning in relation to their own work.
During the group residency, each artist will be individually followed and listened to throughout the process, allowing them to develop their project independently and further explore their research. At the same time, the residency will take place within a shared space: each artist will have their own workspace, with a table and chair, while all materials, tools, and equipment available in the space may be used by all participants, as can the common areas.
Group residencies host up to 4 artists at the time
No project proposal is required. Instead, we ask interested artists to send:
Their portfolio – PDF or link to a website (including a short bio and artist statement)
Residency Details
Participants: 4 artists
Residency fee: €550 per artist
Location: Chiasso Perduto — a shared space, divided equally among the residents to ensure each has a dedicated working area.
Accommodation
We are committed to helping artists find affordable lodging at the B&B Calcio Storico di Firenze

Check-out: 15/11 (17 nights)
Single room: €600
Double room for single use (DUS): €900
